Niklas Vågstedt, born the 9th of April 1994, has been in six musical groups: Raggarbandet, Dance 4.2, Tjena-Tjena, THE DIGESTIVES, TFG and Ray Romano’s Army of Love.
All five of them, made funky tunes using Ejay and bad microphones. Niklas started Raggarbandet with five friends January 7th 2000 and sold 33 copies of their debut album, “Bajs En Skiva”. The five immature kids later discovered how bad their music actually was, so they disbanded the first of May, 2001. Two months later, July 1st, they had listened to their album many times, realizing: man, this is some funky tunes, so they joined forces again and formed Dance 4.2.
Dance 4.2, is basically the same thing as Raggarbandet, except for one thing, their first album never was released. The band disbanded a month after the band was formed, and only made one song, which was never released. Not even the band members themselves own a copy of that song.
Tjena-Tjena was formed in September 15th 2001 by the five kids from Niklas’ earlier bands.
Tjena-Tjena recorded one full album, which didn’t sell that well at all. The band disbanded right after releasing their debut album “Tjena-Tjena”, Feburary 2002.
It is now September 3rd, two friends of Niklas’ bought both “Tjena-Tjena” and “Bajs en Skiva,” and liked them a lot.
They had no musical talent at all, and wanted to form yet another band with Niklas. This band got their name “The Digestives” from a certain biscuit Niklas did not like.
They released an album, which was worse than anything Niklas has ever heard. It was plain terrible.
The album was made in a day (this might be the reason why it sucked) and didn’t sell at all. The band split up later that day.
Now, it’s the seventh of April 2006. Niklas wanted to start a solo career as a musician with the name, “The Furry Goldfish” (don’t ask me why). However, Niklas got a notice from a real band that was named “The Furry Goldfish,” so he changed the name to “TFG.” Under the name, he planned to make an album called “This CD Needs a Hook,” but it was never released, and only a few songs were made. However, the songs that were made can be heard under the “Niklas Vågstedt” moniker in his compilation album, “Niklas Vågstedt: The Early Years”. The band split up January 2007 because of the lame-ass name.
Afterwards, Niklas decided to start making music under his own name. Niklas started making remixes of Lemon Demon songs and made some other original tracks. In 2008, he started working on an original album with Red Alien, entitled “Pronounce My Name and Win an iPod.” The album is set to have about 20 tracks and should be released sometime in 2009.
