Dinosaurchestra Part One
“Dinosaurchestra Part One” is a great opener. It’s catchy and loud. I love it. 10/10.
Action Movie Hero Boy
Awesome, catchy tune. Funny concept. I can’t really think of anything else to say about it. 9/10.
Fine
Happy, fun, cheery, rather… Ironic song. Incredibly catchy… Everything. This is probably one of my favorite Lemon Demon songs ever. 10/10.
Lawnmower
Hehe, I love the intro. It makes me think of, like… A happy waltz through a thrift store. The rest of the song is okay. Nothing too memorable. The little “Mowing the lawn, mowing the lawn. Mowing the lawn, mowing lawn.” part is pretty catchy. I think the next time I have to mow the lawn, I’m gonna sing this song the entire time. 8/10.
Stuck
This song is okay. It’s not really too catchy or anything, and it really has no hook. 6/10.
The Ultimate Showdown of Ultimate Destiny
Sick of it. And I don’t like the guitar filter. Needs more distortion. 5/10.
Vow of Silence
Ironic song. I like how Neil thought of a name for the languague that language-less people think in (“Mentalese.”) Semi-catchy… Great choruses. 8/10.
Neverending Hum
Awesome, awesome song. I love the spaz-tastic, chaotic percussion. Very Polysics…-Ish. Funny and catchy. 10/10.
Dinosaurchestra Part Two
Pretty much a simpler version of the first song. It’s as catchy (It’s has the same chord progression as the first Dinosaurchestra), yet less loud. 9/10.
Your Imaginary Friend
Nice, soft song. It’s catch is this weird, bird-chirpy synth. It sort of annoys me, but it’s tunes is rather catchy. 8/10.
Archaeopteryx
I love the concept. For some reason, the acoustic guitar parts remind me of Pikmin… 9/10.
Eyewishes
Most of this song is pretty much Lemon Demon cliche stuff, except for the awesome bridge. Has sort of an odd transition at the end. 8/10.
Bystanding
I love this track. It’s nice and mellow, and it reminds me of Iron and Wine. Pretty short, though. 8/10.
Indie Cindy and the Lo-Fi Lullabies
I enjoyed both versions of this song. This one has a…. I guess… More round feel. The original was a lot longer and had a much more… Grungy, rough feel. This is one of my favorite tracks on the album. Sort of sad/depressing story. I love the first chorus. 10/10.
Nothing Worth Loving Isn’t Askew
This song somehow strikes me as… Weezer-esque. Has a pretty cool synth in someplaces. Umm… I don’t have too much else to say about the song. I like the concept. 7/10.
This Hyper World
Fun, semi-fast tempoed, catchy song. Very catchy and… Umm… Rock… -y… 10/10.
Deep in the Ocean
Cool concept. Fun and happy. Everything is pretty perfect, except for this one part where the tempo suddenly gets faster. It doesn’t really sound… Right. 9/10.
Dinosaurchestra Part Three
Similiar to the two other ones. Same ticking loop… Same tune… Except a lot longer. I thought the eight ball part was pretty funny. All in all, it’s the same song, only it continues the story. 10/10.
The Too Much Song
Meh. I don’t really like this song. Too… Mushy. 6/10.
Bonus tracks
I DON’T FEEL LIKE DOING THE BONUS TRACKS. I’LL JUST SAME SOME SHORT THINGS ABOUT SOME OF THEM.
BILL WATTERSON IS REALLY, REALLY, REALLY AWESOME. I like the overlapping voices near the end.
Stick Stickly is more punk-ish than most of Neil’s song. And I like it.
