Talk:Illemonati
From WikiLemon
Should we add Illemonati love of online games iSketch and Psychobabble and our tendancy to have very sick minds?
- Depends how it’s phrased. I’ve never heard of either game, for example. So if you do add it, then make sure you don’t make too much of a generalisation. —LÆB 13:27, 19 March 2006 (EST)
- It seems to be common around the chat types. Maybe not all then, we’re our own breed. —Mattgcn 22:13, 21 March 2006 (EST)
What about the ones with Dyslexia? like me? i was sure i posted something about it and it was said it was OK if i didn’t spell right to the extent that Google spell check couldn’t pick up
Should the act of convering Unlemonati be added as an “unspoken qualification”? —HalfCatharsis
Illemonatae
I regret coining “Illemonata(e)”. We shouldn’t segregate our very group identity by gender. Plus, we can use Illemonatus/Illemonati for females too and still be grammatically correct with respect to Latin, because “-us” nouns are actually not necessarily considered masculine. — Æther Bunny / Talk? - I hate gender-specific things in general unless there’s a good reason, but I noted its existance out of respect for its (albeit seldom) use. I’d love to see it uncoinned somehow though. =P —Bran
