This page will catalogue the various made-up words used by the Illemonati. We do this to confuse people, and because making up words is fun. This list was originally based on a post on the forum by Xlycanthropicx.

Please don’t introduce new words by adding them to this page. Instead, introduce them on the forum, and if they catch on, they can be added here. There is also a thread devoted to this topic.

Illemonati greetings/codewords

Razzlefrazzle (răz’əl-frăz’əl) interj.

First half of an inter-illemonati greeting.

(Coined by mreddy1, arbitrarily as far as I know.)

Fnork (fnôrk) interj.

Second half of an inter-illemonati greeting.

(Coined by the Luminiferous Æther Bunny, based on “fnord” and “spork”.)

Lemon Demon/Neil Cicierega-related terminology

These are terms related (in meaning and/or etymology) to Lemon Demon.

AST (ā-ĕs-tē) n.

Anything created by an artist (usually a song) that was created in their career’s early stages, and that they are now embarrassed by.

Dinogate (dī’nō-gāt) n.

The period in which Dinosaurchestra tracks were leaked before the release of the album.

Guitard (gĭ-tärd’) n.

One who only knows of Lemon Demon through The Ultimate Showdown of Ultimate Destiny.

(Coined by SaintSmythe in chat, referring to one of them whose nick was ‘guitarded.’)

Illemonactivity (ĭ-lĕ’mə-năk-tĭv’ĭ-tē) n.

Any specific deed, action, function, or sphere of action that an Illemonatus participates or takes part in, usually on the Lemon Demon forum.

Illemonatus (ĭ-lĕ’mə-nä’tŭs) n.

(Plural Illemonati.) Fans of the band Lemon Demon, and specifically members of the Lemon Demon forum. See Illemonati article for more information.

Lemizdat (lĕ-myĭz-dät’) n.

Any form of grassroots publicity that promotes Lemon Demon and/or the message board/website. See lemizdat article for more information.

Lemonbassador (lĕm’ən-băs’ə-dôr’) n.

A person who takes it upon her/himself to actively spread the word about Lemon Demon locally.

Lemonstration (lĕm’ən-strā’shən) n.

A form of lemizdat in which the Illemonatus performs, or oversees the playing of, Lemon Demon music. The goal of this is similar to that of other forms of lemizdat.

Muggle (mŭg’əl) n.

A person who has not heard of Lemon Demon.

(Coined by J. K. Rowling, introduced in this context by Dave12D3. [3])

Neildrew (nēl’-drū) adj.

Describes anything in which Neil and Andrew Kepple are in a sexual relationship. The term originated with the infamous Neildrew slashfic. So far the term has been applied to fanfiction and fanart.

Nielus (nēlŭs) n.

The chronic misspelling of Neil’s name.

Puppetard () n.

One who only knows of Neil through Potter Puppet Pals or commonly referred to by them as “Harry Potter Puppet Pals”. May know of his other videos only criticise them telling him to stick to PPP or continuously ask when the next one will be made.

Pureblood (pyʊr’blŭd’) n.

A person born of two Illemonati. (There aren’t any yet.)

Sneil (snēl) n.

A genre of fanfiction that depicts a sexual relationship between Neil Cicierega and Professor Severus Snape from the Harry Potter series.

Unlemonatus n.

A person that has heard of Lemon Demon, but isn’t normally considered an Illemonatus. All guitards are Unlemonati, but not necessarily vice versa.

Miscellaneous Illemonati terminology

These are terms which were coined or are in wide use by Illemonati, but which are not directly related to Lemon Demon itself.

Audible (ô’də-bəl) v.

Often used by Illemonati (or well-to-do members of the Lemon Demon forum). Since the forum word filters change LOL into AUDIBLE LAUGHTER, many have taken to using audible and its verbified forms to describe laughing.

Assanate v.

To annihilate someone using the buttocks.

Axent (ăks’sĕnt’) adj.

The accent of somebody holding an axe.

Cereal killer (sîr’ē-əl kĭl’ər) n.

A person who murders cereal brand mascots.

Chebby (chĕb’ē) n.

Meaning unknown. Possibly derived from “Chelsea”, the name of the individual at whom it was originally directed.

Fartlas (färt-lăs) n.

A photograph of Jessica Farrell and Adam Atlas together, or any reference to the visit between Jessica Farrell and Adam Atlas in June of 2006.

Feak (fēk) n.

Something having to do with “freak”.

Horcrux (WHORE-crux) n.

(Plural horcruxes.) An alternative account. The non-horcrux account is the most well-known, regardless of creation dates.

John Kerry (jôn kĕr’ē) v.

Means “just kidding”, a reference to the forum word filters. Sometimes written as “John Kerrying”, “Kerrying”, or “Kerry”.

Jush (jŭsh) v.

Typically used by females as a verb, this word’s meaning is unknown, and may not exist.

Lamo (lä’mō) n.

Plural form of “llama”.

Lvoe n., v., adj.

Meaning debatable. Can be used as a verb (“I lvoe Lemon Demon.”) or a noun (“I showed my lvoe of Lemon Demon.”) or an adjective (“Kittens are lvoe!”).

Memoraneilia (mĕm’ər-ə-nĭl’ē-ə) n.

Creations by Neil that are not relatively well-known, or Neil-related artifacts of interest.

Mocery (mō’sə-rē) n.

A grocery store that sells fake or deceptive food.

n00b (nūb) n.

A new member who acts like a complete idiot. Used derogatively. Also often used as a label for a member with poor grammar. May occasionally be spelled “noob”.

Newbie (nū’bē) n.

A new member. A neutral/positive term.

Oggflac (ŏg-flăk) n.

A healthy alternative to eggnog, drunk at Christmas while playing Lemon Demon music.

Penisliver (pē’nĭs-lĭv’ər) n.

A sheltered person.

Weet (wēt) interj., adj.

Awesome, cool, interesting, great.

Forum vernacular

Full House (fʊl hous) n.

When a single user has the last post in each of the six subforums. Example

Sandwich (sănd’wĭch) n.

The term used when a user has the last post in every other topic in a section of a subforum. Example

Takeover (tāk’ō’vər) n.

When a single user has the last post in every topic of a subforum. It is much harder to get a takeover than a full house unless you are the only active user online. Since the Pastamania forum was closed by Neil with RatchetSly as the last poster, it is now impossible to get a takeover for everyone and impossible to get a full house unless you are Ratchet.

Todd n., v.

The act of “stealing” a post by quoting, quote editing, multiquoting, et cetera. Named after Todd Goldman, who stole the art of Dave Kelly. This term actually originated on Something Awful and migrated to the Lemon Demon forum.

Wario thread n.

A forum topic explaining a personal problem or situation and asking for advice. Usually frowned upon.

(Named after forum poster Wario Vs Moo Chicken, who is infamous for creating such topics.)

Sex!

+1 (or “plus one”)

To have an orgasm.

(Originated in the Masturbation Contest.)

Do the do (dū THə dū) v.

To have sex.

(Coined by Cam’s mother after she found his condoms and had a talk with him about it. [15])

Erotifying (ē-rä’tĭ-fī’ēng) adj.

Something, such as the Rocky Horror Picture Show (specifically the character of Dr. Frankenfurter), that is both erotic and horrifying.

Feyngirl n.

A fangirl of Feyn.

Glamp (glămp) v.

The action of glomping someone, then clamping on, preventing motion.

Glimp (glĭmp) v.

To perform manual sexual stimulation. May refer to either self-stimulation or activity with one or more partners.

Glump (glŭmp) v.

To give someone a big, running-start, knocking down hug, and to then immediately start humping them. (Further defined by AEGPM to include “One motion feeds into the other. The full-body motion of the glomp adds to the pelvic motion of the hump, and the pelvic motion of the hump adds to the full-body motion of the glomp. It’s win-win.”)

Glymp (glĭmp) v.

To tackle-hug someone, immediately followed by rolling about on the floor and making cutesy ‘squee’-like noises.

Illemonating (ĭ-lĕ’mə-nä’tĭng) v.

The act of two or more Illemonati meeting.

Sexciting (sĕks-sī’tĭng)) adj.

Sexually exciting, especially when applied to Neil.

Waffle (wŏf’əl) v.

Yet another undefined term. It is usually used in a sexual overtone, but we may never know what it means to waffle someone. Saying “(#)” is the call to waffling.
