cutiebaby
The forum’s first ban — this person’s first and only post was in the DO post a picture of yourself in this topic thread. The post contained a link to the shock site Last Measure (link leads to informational article) disguised via BBcode as a link to a JPEG image on PhotoBucket. Several people quickly reported it, and Cutiebaby was soon banned.
msfelton
msfelton started out by asking Neil for help with flash. Although Neil’s answer was hilarious, it drove msfelton into some kind of “talk to me, Neil” frenzy. Msfelton started two topics, both entitled “tlk to me Neil”. Msfelton posted entire paragraphs of just “tlk” in these topics. One was closed, the other is still open. This was the forum’s first non-permanent ban.
msfelton appears to have returned as the less annoying “The Comma Chick,” who is now a reasonably respected Illemonatus who has a “fettish” for grammar - although clearly not spelling. This isn’t the first example of a banned person going through a complete change - BTC, for example - although the Comma Chick was the first member to be banned who later returned.
C-Strike Pro
C-Strike Pro… what can be said of him other than RoFl CaKeS WiT|-| l33t saUcE?
This was one of the first messages he posted, and it gives you a good idea as to why he was banned.

After that, ever single post he made, with only one exception, contained the phrase RoFl CaKeS WiT|-| l33t saUcE. He also insulted various forum members and was, in general, a total jerk.
Ironically, he is friends with Zerdzer, the nominal founder of the Illemonati.
At one point, C-Strike Pro returned as Cstrike-Pro#2 Yep Im Back and was promptly banned again. Soon after, he returned as LawLeRsKaTeS, asking for forgiveness and promising not to troll anymore.
Dan
The most famous of the banned ones, Dan started out as a normal newbie — lost, confused, and falling victim to word filters. He started his legacy by asking:
- “i dont have a video, but can Y’ALLZ get it for the nano as a song? i cant find anywhere that has it. How do Y’ALLZ download it on yur ipod?”
Limekle closed the topic, told him not to be so lazy, and pointed him to www.lemondemon.com. Dan did not appreciate this.
In anger, he made the now-infamous “You suck lemikle or watever the 3#$% thats supposed 2 mean” topic. In it, he stated
- “you suck at moderating!!!! bann me i dont give!!! i just want everyone 2 know the message. What was the point of closing my topic retard”
Limekle used her “Mod Powaa” to add the statement “p.s. i like boys” to the end of the post.
Dan was also apparently uninterested in reading any other topics, as his next post showed:
- “ok, you dont need to use proper grammar, it just takes longer on the internet unless your writing something important that needs to be like that. and Y’ALLZ retarded moderator makes it so whenever i say the letter (You) ( which is just how you pronounce it. it says yallz. its your fault. or something changes my messages.”
After two more completely pointless posts, he was banned by Limekle (“oops, he’s gone!”), and his topic stayed alive until it was closed by Neil in late September, due to the rampant off-topicness. He is still the official forum scapegoat, and he also served a valuable lesson: don’t ask to be banned. You will be.
Dan returned to the forum a full three years later in June of 2009, when he was given a full pardon by LAEB under the condition that he behave.
*.*HyperBoy*.*
HyperBoy is one of the more annoying spammers on the LD forums, as well as the first banned one to come back. In essence, he was banned for being annoying. He also wasn’t aware of where his title came from. He made 6 topics, of which only two are open, and both are dead. He spammed incessantly, and his spelling and grammar were much more annoying than Houhu12’s could ever be. Since it was likely he was only a forum newbie, completely unaware of how annoying he was, he was only banned for two weeks.
HexBomber
HexBomber had a less-than-normal start on the forums, by screaming “GO SATAN!!!!!”
- “Go blooody fucking Satan!!!! @!$#!$#!#$@!#$@ to you all!”
Yeah. REAL smart guy there. With messages like that, no wonder he was banned!
He only made 3 other posts, one of which was in a topic called “Gorillaz is better than Lemon Demon.” It was closed. It’s not hard to see why Limekle banned him.
Beyond the Clouds
Beyond the Clouds was originally a relatively normal (if sometimes annoying and rather humourless) forum member. However, when Houhu said he was leaving the forum, BTC gave a bizarre imitation of him, and quickly started using horrible grammar. Whenever someone said something annoyed them, he would do it. His apparent favorite catchphrase was “boogs is fo’ da chode man.” For a while, he was just annoying. Finally, he began grating on EVERYONE’s nerves, posted the picture Lemonparty on the forum, and made entire posts of nothing but the word “chode” (and later “choad” when he apparently learned that was the more common spelling). Eventually, his title was changes to “choad”, but he apparently loved it, and it was revoked. A small campaign spearheaded by AEGPM, BeatlesLover, and HalfCatharsis caught the mods’ attention, who caught the admins’ attention, who finally banned BTC right after he proclaimed himself a troll, and said he had eyes on another forum. For about a day, it was thought it might not be him, since he was stupid enough to post his password on his wikipage, but the mods confirmed that every post came from one IP. The password is still on the wiki, but it’s a stupid idea to try it. You can’t log out without clearing all your cookies.
Beyond The Clouds occasionally returns to the forum via new accounts on different IP addresses, usually having usernames with the initials BTC. They are quickly banned. The following are known BTC reincarnations:

On multiple occasions, existing members created BTC-style accounts as a joke:
- Bacon Tomato Cabbage (FeynmanMH42)
- Bong Time Cat (Lemon Follower)
BTC under the name “troller” requested that he should be allowed a chance and he would not troll. Psyne refused, citing the story of “The Boy Who Cried Wolf” - BTC trolled several times and we banned him, and even if he intends not to troll we’ll still ban him because we’re so sick of him. While no moderators were online, BTC signed on as “sduolc eht dnoyeb,” and created a thread in praise of Neil claiming he wouldn’t troll again. No moderators were online for a long time, allowing BTC to post several times, apologising for what he’d done in the past, proclaiming Illemonatus status and a love of Lemon Demon and a wish to return to the forum - and a promise not to troll unless he was banned later. Later moderators Psyne and Natalia have been online at the same time as BTC’s current incarnation and have not banned him yet, suggesting that BTC has been given a chance to redeem himself. The members of the Illemonati community are beginning to grow more accepting of him and BTC, so far, hasn’t reverted to a troll. LAEB has told BTC that he will not ban him for now, as he seems serious about not trolling. Alora has been online at the same time as BTC’s latest incarnation and hasn’t banned him yet. Only Fae and Neil remain to give judgment on the matter of BTC’s fate - and only when they give their answers will a decision be passed on BTC.

Old Gray… Man… Thing
OGMT, as he was more commonly known, was a forumer obsessed with collecting forthcoming, unannounced, and forbidden tracks. He eventually created a pseudonymous identity, “1337 Guy,” purportedly a 32-year-old Norwegian man, which he used to spread around leaked tracks. He eventually used this identity to trick Neil into sending him the song A Schizophrenic Twist, long kept unheard by the public until then. The plan worked, but when several other forum members ended up with it, Neil traced the IP address found in one of the 1337 Guy emails, identifying OGMT. He then posted a message on the forum claiming that it wasn’t OGMT’s having the song that bothered him, but the deceit involved, and that although he still found the song embarrassing, he didn’t think that continuing to keep songs “forbidden” was worth the strife it caused. He also announced that OGMT was banned, and finally posted a link to the MP3.

Neon666 was banned by Limekle for “Calling people losers, saying they should be bombed, and spamming the forum.” [1]
fgdfgdfgfdeg
This person’s only two posts consisted of a thread entitled, “You are shit…get some good lyrics you sad emo wannabe basterds” in which this person bashed Lemon Demon for having poor lyrics. Fgdfgdfgfdeg was banned rather quickly by Alora herself.
Djnet5
Before registering on the forums, Djnet5 was long notorious for his blatant ripoff of Andrew Kepple’s Flash video of I’ve Got Some Falling To Do, which he persistently kept on Newgrounds until it got removed on October 17, 2006. Eventually he found the forums and posted two identical topics spamming for the newest version of the video he made, which was submitted to Newgrounds as part of Clock Day 2006 (also blammed, nearly a month later). He was quickly banned, and the topics were deleted.
hgkrtieu
This person posted four messages, all containing random strings of letters, before being banned. The posts were found to have been posted from the same IP address as the one FeynmanMH42 was on at the time. Feynman explained that it was probably a kid from his class playing a prank.
Due to the nature of the spamming, it’s a possibility that this account was made by barney.
DinosaurchestraDude
DinosaurchestraDude is BeatlesLover’s sister. She posted links to copies of Archaeopteryx and Deep in the Ocean that were found by chance on EvilTrailMix before the album’s release, not realizing that the URLs had long since been deactivated, and also probably not realizing that Dinosaurchestra was released over two months earlier.
She did the same thing on WikiLemon in March.
Barney
Barney posted four topics in Off Topic Whatevery along the lines of “hello i barney” that were quickly locked. ([2], [3], [4], [5]) He also posted in two larger threads, and was repeatedly redirected to the forum introductions thread. The one time that Barney responded to these posts, he said “but am barney”. LÆB banned him for a week. [6] During this time, Barney created another account with the username Dora. At this point, he was given a full ban by Faerykore. [7] Since the Dora account proved that this person was a troll rather than just an idiot, the ban on Barney was also changed to a permanent one. Barney appears to have been on an IP address that FeynmanMH42 has used in the past, and is therefore most likely a person that attends Feyn’s school. [8] Barney subsequently created two accounts purportedly to apologize for what he had done, though they were just as bad as the original. These accounts had the usernames “barnet am sorry”, and “barney i’n sorry”. Both of these accounts have been banned.
Barnet am sorry created a topic called “why am baned” claiming his innocence, and another (after having changed his name to barney i’n sorry) called “figs acordeng to barneys” in which he attempted to discuss physics.
He then made a thread asking for help finding his liberry (library) and another asking if people liked chocolate. He also posted in numerous other topics with equally weird comments concerning: liberrys, halpoo, frands, and of course himself. Many Illemonati use these Barney phrases jokingly, the most popular being “but am barney.”

- Barney Barneyson
“Dora”, who registered after the original Barney but before barnet am sorry, may or may not have actually been the same person. This person’s only post was “hi am dora”, clearly imitating Barney, if not actually him. As “barnet am sorry”, Barney denied being Dora. Dora had registered with the email address landerin@gmail.com, suggesting that it may have actually been Landerin (another friend of Feynman), who registered later that day.
Barney also registered as II,III,IV,VI,VII,VIII,IX,XI,XII,XIII. His reasons were never known. These accounts were spotted by Zack and banned by LÆB.
“barney in tha fridge’s topics were especially strange, including but not limited to: “Elliott HERD (sic) is gay,” where he launched a personal attack on Elliott, seeming to ignore the fact that this forum isn’t exactly homophobic; “Ouch mi annulus”, where he discussed falling off his car, hurting his “anuus” and being “ded”; “i bin on bloody holiday”, where he talks about going to Lithuania and having the Lithuanians being “green” (????) trying to “war” with him. (This may have been personally directed at Tran.) He also discussed some particularly unmentionable acts on buses, which unsurprisingly got him banned. Someone said that in this respect, buses are like the forum, to which LAEB replied that you don’t get banned from the forum for doing that.
On one confirmed occasion, barney vandalised his own wiki section with inane comments, “i leki dogs” is an example.
Another account, “Heart,” was registered. Heart posted a topic in each section of the forum, excluding news. His topics were strange, and he talked about “the end of days”, and “desecration of his legacy” amongst other things. All of his topics still remain. Heart is thought to be barney but the IP is vague (from a school).
Many of barney’s posts are during school hours which narrows the selection. He is most likely a pupil.
JohnnyIntergalacticMan created an AIM screen name called “butambarney”, with which he successfully freaked out FaeryKore. However, this was just the beginning of the “Barney explosion.”
Barney very quickly turned from an ordinary troll into a phenomenon, with people saying “but am barney” in response to difficult questions and using the word “lank” in place of “like.” However, soon Barney attacks ceased to be funny and became annoying once again - he keeps getting banned. Despite this, Barney has managed to become rather prominent on the Lemon Demon forum - another forum Feyn posts on had a Barney account created by one of his friends to freak him out. Niklasva included a Barney reference in “Behold the FUTURE,” Andrew Kepple invented the hilarious “Barney am movei,” and Anya made a “but am Barney” avatar. To top this off, OTC and Feyn have both made fake Barney MySpaces, and there was even a Barney contest on Stonehenge.
Barney has also been on IRC, claiming he is not truly a pupil at school, but that he “fales at lerning.” He claimed that he lived in a lake but his computer “borked from wet” so to run it, he hid in the nearest building (which happened to be Feyn’s school). While Feyn was browsing Wikipedia, he noticed an article about four-dimensional manifolds, and in particular “Calabi-yau space.” This was in fact a Barney name - so after taking some advice from his more informed friend Thom, Feyn asked barney some questions about manifolds and he got the answers right - showing despite his bad grammar and “idiotic” exterior, barney is in fact quite intelligent. Barney apparently speaks in proper English while he is in IRC, except when Feyn comes on. Holangisus has criticised Feyn for “asking barney annoying questions all the time” and making barney “type like a retard.”
Who is barney? Barney is most likely a pupil in Mr Aldous’ ICT class at Feyn’s school; when Feyn asked him some questions about the class he got them correct. The four usual Illemonati from that school, Feyn, Damage, Landerin and Thom, can all testify to each other not being barney. His true identity remains a mystery.
Barney is also responsible for the accounts “The Reverand Bob Hope” and “Dr. Aerosmith” on Internet Stonehenge.
Barney most recently came as AidenForsythe and created two threads. One was an introductory thread leading to a remark that got it locked. 
The other attacked Tyrante.
Feyn and his comrades will leave their current school in a few weeks. Hopefully, this will mean the end of barney. As all four Illemonati are going to separate colleges or sixth forms, an IP check will most likely help identify the college barney has chosen, if he continues to attack after school ends. Another fortunate situation would be barney’s complete demise following the end of school. However, Feyn dislikes this idea unless he is able to reveal Barney’s true identity before then.
Barney has secured himself a place in Illemonati history with his inane yet humourous comments, yet these days barney has become a hated troll whom everyone wants to ban. Does Barney understand that we laugh at him, not with him? Only he knows… or should that be “onley he am nowing”?
evo600 and sk8erstich
evo600 and sk8erstich were banned for being thoroughly and unchangingly annoying; their modi operandi were creating topics with no real point and near-duplicates of existing topics, bumping extremely old topics for no apparent reason, and replying to nearly every post in topics they have created.
They are both relatives of respected Illemonatus bran371, and therefore they probably had good intentions, and were not trying to troll. Their bans were never revoked, but Sk8erstich eventually rejoined as Ryan and earned his membership back. Evo600 has never rejoined and likely never will.
Monkees Lover/Monkees Luver
Monkees Lover started out his short-lived forum life like any other noob, although there were some suspicions about his true identity. After a while, Monkees Lover left the forums due to computer problems. He apparently forgot his password upon his return [9], and created a new account as Monkees Luver. With this new account he made two posts in which he insulted BeatlesLover and called Alora fat. He was then banned by LÆB.
Razor Jones
Former chat regular and occasional forum user teamed up with ghettocowboy to vandalize the wiki. His explanation was that it was revenge for the Encyclopedia Dramatica incident but, in addition, to teach the Illemonati to be more kind to new fans, or fans different from the expected “Ideal Fan” medium. He was banned from both wiki and forums. He made another account, RizzaJizza, with which to communicate with the forum; this account was banned as well. He created another account called “TyroneJones,” and made another topic, which was closed before any posts were made. The account was banned quickly. He claims that this was because no one was level-headed enough to deal with him respectfully. (This tends to be his excuse whenever any of his trolling/flamebait is locked or deleted.) This was likely because he vandalized the wiki too much before negotiations opened. He has decided with the convincing of someone, who will go unnamed, to no longer troll any part of the Lemon Demon Community.
N00b 485
This person posted a bunch of mean and simply annoying posts, and was banned by LAEB at the request of his real-life friend. He later came back as “ericownsnoobs,” but was banned as well. He also edited his own ban entry, adding inane comments to the end about “XOTTYX AMROSANTY AND DEDILLYNNI YAULUTHER” and how “matt” was “burend.”
Elliott Hird
Elliott Hird was a forum regular for a very long time. He was generally well-respected and earned the title “little genius” because he was very good with computers while being ten years old. After proving himself good with wiki markup, he was promoted to a sysop on WikiLemon, but after a short time he made a disruptive change of some sort that caused it to be unviewable. LÆB restored the wiki and banned Elliott, but Elliott managed to evade further trouble when it was revealed he had asperger’s syndrome.
Elliott had issues with forum members, notably Houhu12 and OGMT. He was also one of the trio of forumers (along with OGMT and BeatlesLover) to be obsessive over A Schizophrenic Twist. He eventually started up a secret forum called Obsessive Song Collecting Forum to plot to get AST and other unreleased songs, which caused his popularity to decline.
After leaving the forum during Pastworld, Elliott returned several times, asking to be banned. At some point, he changed his LDShare2K system entirely to links to Last Measure as a “joke”. He returned to the forum every once in a while (often during Houhu12’s visits) to ask to be banned. His request was finally honored on January 31st, 2007 by FaeryKore.

pienose/Lemondemonsuck
Came on the forums on April Fools 2007 posting trash talk about Neil. He was eventually banned by Alora, and all his topics were closed. Later on, pienose signed on and made a thread revealing it was him, and posting inane threats towards the Illemonati. He was also banned accordingly.
NgaioX/Adam
NgaioX spent most of his time posting mindless drivel and bumping old threads. However, he stepped over the line in the Prank Call thread, revealing two prank calls he’d made to the Cicierega residence, one of which was rather malicious (though he lied about the calls and never actually made them.) [10][11] After more or less admitting to being a troll by stating his goal of becoming “infamous,” [12] he was banned at the request of several members. [13]
He later apologized for his disrespectful and illogical behavior. [14] His apology was accepted by most of the Illemonati with a few naysayers. NgaioX then registered under the name of Adam.
However, Adam continued to carry on in a rather rude manner, and succeeded in annoying several members. He started many new topics, most of which were locked, and continued to break various rules. In the Ask Neil thread, he asked Neil a very inappropriate question. FaeryKore almost banned him then, but she decided to give him another chance when she noticed that Adam had made a “deal” with AEGPM to be on better behaviour. However, his improvement was not very drastic, and often attempted to justify his behaviour by explaining that he had ADD, was homeschooled, was antisocial, and had a “wacky sense of humour.” He also created a thread titled “I get hard from…” that was somewhat reminiscent of the controversial (and now closed) masturbation thread.
He was banned temporarily by Alora[15] when he responded to a new member, Tessa (who had posted a link to her summary of Imagination Summit) by saying “Tessa, No, fuck you.” When multiple members expressed outrage at this comment, he continued his legacy of shifting the blame by attempting to justify his response by saying that it was a traditional Newgrounds BBS habit.
During his temporary ban, he came back as Ngaiox again and trolled, eventually threatening to “blow a whole” in the forum. Nobody seemed to grasp the fact that he was a stupid troll, despite many reiterations of this point by Madhatte, Smythe, Bran, Bubbs, and MrKsoft. He was eventually perma-banned by Alora, who later deleted his trolling topic (which had, by that point, acquired six pages of troll-feeding).
Eventually his Adam account was unbanned, and he agreed to try and fit in. However, he still managed to act like an idiot, and used homophobic slurs even when other forummers informed him that it was offensive. When Kepple mocked him (“wat a fag urg urg”) Adam didn’t understand Kepple’s intention and accused the forum at large of having double-standards. After saying the forum could “burn in hell,” he was banned. Immediately after that, he went berserk and began vandalizing WikiLemon, and was quickly banned by Fae. He then sent multiple messages to her, such as “I have proxies and seriously this is going down.” Either he had too much time on his hands or he was too stupid to realize that changes on a wiki can easily be reverted. It is probably both.
It was later revealed that he was lying about his age all along—he was merely 12, compared to what he specified(17).
In early October, he re-registered as “NYIFM10DAWSOB” - which apparently stands for “New Yorker Italian Father Makes 10 Dollars a Week Son of A Bitch” - soon revealing his true identity to the forum. Although he claimed “not to be trolling this time”, this account was banned by FaeryKore the next day.
Then, in February 2008, Adam came back with a number of accounts, “TotallyNotNeilCicierega,”, “making 4chan my army.”, “ALORA IS A FAT BASTARD”, “Hell Boy; "Zdzm"”, “Zdzm” and etc. He created a thread about how he was going to start a 4chan raid on the Lemon Demon forums, saying Neil Cicierega looked like “a holocaust survivor,”. He made several posts on 4chan, 6 in /b/ and one in /r/. On Valentine’s Day of the same year, Neil stole Zdzm’s password and sent it to several Illemonati who asked for it. Zdzm has begged for his accounts (primarily Gmail) to be returned, [16] but none have been. Currently, all accounts are controlled solely by Neil.

Shortly after the propaganda from Neil’s psychoanalysis of Adam, Zapetroid, Syrinx, and hawk2416 had an intervention with him through AIM. He delivered a written apology, which was posted on the forum in the corresponding thread. [17]
ghettocowboy76
Ghettocowboy76 is one of the many accounts of “Zdzm”, though this was not known widely for a while. When joining the forums, he created two topics asking to be unbanned from the chat. After ignoring requests to use proper English and saying that no one in their right mind would buy a Lemon Demon album, he was assumed a troll and banned. He and RazorJones later went on to vandalize WikiLemon in an attempt to make some sort of point about vandalism. He created an account called “ghettocowboyFUCKEDUPWIKI” with which to continue to troll on the forum. He joined again quickly with the name “thuglife7,” which was quickly banned. He remains on the chat as a fixture since no one really feels like banning him, and he has been known to be very amusing to some.
Neil
Neil was a particularly notable new account from Zdzm. He started himself off badly by being angered over good-natured joking about LGBT rights, but posting much more malicious hate messages. He angered people in much the same way as Zdzm, with hilariously unfunny stereotypes and a complete indifference to other people’s feelings. He was eventually found to be a purposeful troll by [insert name here], and was banned. Afterward, he made some immature spam topics in much the same vein as his former self.
Neil was the only troll to have such a long second stay. This is probably because of all the troll feeding certain people did for Zdzm.
evilplaster
evilplaster made a thread in the Lemon Demon Discussion forum and it was locked relatively quickly.
After that, he made another topic where in the second post he was clearly mad, and starting yelling in general, at one point saying he might just kill himself, and saying that people just won’t listen, although to what isn’t clear. [18] He was quickly banned after that.
Mushy
Although Mushy’s first account is not banned (yet), he is known to be a troll. At first, he had gone on a topic-creating spree under this name, and then did some more under the alias “Zebo” . Under another alias, “Don’t Eat Me,” he made this nonsensical topic, in which he did some more trolling. Both “Zebo” and “Don’t Eat Me” were banned. Like several other trolls (Barney being the most well-known), Mushy is an acquaintance of respected Illemonatus FeynmanMH42.
Greiv
Greiv started out as a particularily strange (and sometimes offensive) forummer that some members found funny, but other members found irritating. After a period of little posting, it turns out he’d been trolling the chat, insulting Anya. He was banned from the forums by Julie.

A forum member that was immediately noted as having “Scaife4sythes” in their e-mail address (seen as a reference to Barney), Sev was immediately bashed by several forum members for her (such is assume by the name “Kathleen” in ‘her’ avatar, but such could also be a mispelling of “Kathryn” as a reference to Feyn) “stupid fakeposting and picking arguments”. She was banned by Julie.
The next day Richard Marvolo Nixon appeared using Sev’s avatar and claiming “she won’t need it any more.” Nixon changed his or her avatar to a picture of four scythes (clearly another Aiden Forsythe/Barney reference), suggesting another link. It is most likely Sev and Nixon are the same person. Sev’s IP shows he or she comes from England, but whether or not he or she is Barney remains to be seen, although this is the most likely and logical explanation.

Zerdzer was a quiet Illemonatus for a long time (in fact, he coined the word “Illemonati”) until he inexplicably created three spam topics and was banned by Julie on October 25, 2007.

The ultimategaywad was a troll. He started by annoying everyone with a shitty parody of The Ultimate Showdown of Ultimate Destiny. He was banned for spamming. Later he came back as “kahnor” and made yet another shitty parody, which he reposted twice before being banned.
torres95
Torres is Sickpuppy’s brother. He started off by insulting Lemon Demon and the Illemonati, but later said he simply wanted to “study our ways.” He was reported by a few people and Neil banned him.

This was some “troll” Zdzm recruited from another forum he went to. They returned a few times with similar usernames.

Nitro
Nitro was an Illemonatus with remarkably poor grammar and spelling, for which he bacame something of a forum joke, but nonetheless, was withstandable and even somewhat likeable to most forumers. He was given a temporary ban in 2008 for going on a tangent of pointless, nonsense threads in the Games section. He has since returned and wisened up.
Bernard
Came onto the forums in November 2009, posting about numerous poo-related escapades he’d had. His most famous involved his first trollish post in the forum in which he claimed that he rubbed his own feces on his cat. This sparked a massive forum debate to his legitimacy. Bernard swore, with what seemed like a fair amount of sincerity, that he was not kidding, not trolling, and that he had actually done the things he described. But continued posts of this nature led him to be temporarily banned. After coming back, he continued his string of poo-tales, and posted nonsense several times in the games thread. During this final time, a rivalry with forum member MrOwn1 seemed to develop. Matt finally permanently banned him after about 2 days back on the forum. There was massive speculation, especially due to his name, if this was an incarnation of barney. Feynman claimed he’d received numerous tip-offs, but it was never fully confirmed. Bernard himself swore that he’d read this very article, and the description of barney, and pointed out correctly that his own postings bore no resemblance to barney’s. Bernard was always so sincere in his posts, and always seemed like he really meant what he said, especially in the posts debating his banning. But it was obvious that he wasn’t meant for the forum, or any other one, for that matter.
